If I were to get the boot from any of my main platforms, I have the form below that you can use to add yourself to my "Just-in-Case Contact List." This would allow me to send any important updates to those interested in my work without relying on any particular social media platform.
If you don't want it to be burdensome, I recommend muting all of the channels except for the Announcements channel. Major news will be shared in there with the @everyone ping, and I promise it will be infrequently used. Keep in mind, though, that Discord as a platform is not a guarantee either.
